Animal Behavior Conference - March 2026

Several members from the lab presented on their research at IU’s annual Animal Behavior Conference!

PhD student Emma Nelson gave a talk on different factors that influence the quality of interactions between zoo-housed chimpanzees and human visitors to the Indianapolis Zoo.

Two research assistants also gave poster presentations!

Isabel Brock gave a poster presentation on individual differences in space use and social behavior of zoo-housed chimpanzees.

Eloise Richardson gave a poster presentation on barriers to pet adoption and recommendations for preventing shelter dog overpopulation.
